I know there are some lawyers on Oppo or those who study law, I am in need of some serious legal advice. If anyone could help that would be helpful. I’d rather discuss it off site if possible.

I’d check with your employer too: at some of my jobs, free telephone consultations have been part of the benefits package.

Good luck.

Contact your state labor board. Labor laws can vary widely from state to state so they're going to be your best resource.

I am licensed in a state but can assure you I would be of no help. Good luck. I would encourage you to look for local legal aid(if you qualify), low cost consultation through your state bar, or a local public  law library(you could even call them to ask for their best referrals).

Employment law is very state specific. Some discrimiation claims have more ties to federal law, but even then some states will go beyond what the fed requires. You should call some local solo attorney’s or a s mall to midsize firms as they will give you 10-15 to see if there is a case.
